Located 16 miles east of Sacramento in southern Placer County, Roseville is one of the region’s most vibrant and thriving cities. The City of Roseville operates the Roseville Aquatics Complex (with the Summer Sanders Olympic-size competition pool and children’s interactive play area) and the Roseville Fitness Center (with climbing wall, batting cages, classes, and cardio and strength training equipment). There’s also an abundance of privately owned recreational outlets, including golf courses, competitive indoor soccer, bounce arenas, laser tag, waterslides, and go-carts.

Professional and personal amenities are plentiful with Sierra College located nearby and two state-of-the art medical facilities in the heart of Roseville. The Galleria and Fountains shopping centers are worthy attractions with seasonal amenities (interactive water fountains, ice skating rink, and train rides) as well as housing a plethora of shops and restaurants.

For a less mainstream and more small town atmosphere, there’s downtown Roseville. This intimate thoroughfare embraces the community’s historic roots and neighborly vibe with art walks, street fairs, Wine Down Wednesdays, concerts in the square, and outdoor film showings. There you’ll find restaurants, cafes, shops, ice cream parlors, and several venues for cultural and performing arts  - many of which offer activities and classes for kids.

The City of Roseville operates Adventure Club, a program offering before and after school childcare at schools in the Dry Creek and Roseville City School Districts.
